Diane finished her 1,000 solo circumnavigation this morning. Yeah! Departed Saturday February 19th, starting at the Miami sea buoy, round the Bahamas and back to the sea buoy to finish.
The good people at , with a special shout out to Nick (yeah!), have welcomed her back. The boat is on its mooring ball. Diane was buttoning the boat up, when she telephoned her indomitable shore crew Paul. The plan is to hit the shower, possibly via the bar and get some sleep.
Going to leave it here. Anticipate Diane will marshal her thoughts through her afternoon nap and share them here on the blog & the facebook page.
Congratulations Diane!!

I’m tired just from watching her progress on spot tracker, I can’t imagine how tired she is right now after 11 days single handing! Well done Diane!
