One Girls Ocean Challenge

Well Paul and I were able to sneak away for a week to visit our friend Lezli and her guy Tony in St. Thomas.  Check out the Rock Iguanas!  This guy decided to leave the rocks and head up for lunch to the local cafe!  🙂

This was another awesome day of chillin.  We went to Coki Beach and did some snorkeling and sun bathing!

Well another Toronto International Boat Show is wrapped up.  It was a fantastic show.  Attendance was up and people were excited about the upcoming season.  We met some amazing people and shared the OGOC story with everyone!  Thank you to everyone who was part of this great success; from the boat show staff ensuring that we had a wonderful spot to Southwinds Yacht Detailing polishing her up, to our wonderful sponsors at Guarantee Company of North America and Aquafolia who came to help staff the booth the talk to the loads of people coming by, and all the OGOC volunteers who were there selling t-shirts.  Thank you to all of you.  Next up…..the big Gala at ABYC on March 10, 2012.  Stay tuned for more info!

Last day of the Toronto International Boat Show!  I’m speaking in the Presentation Theatre at 11am if you’re going to be there and want to hear hair raising stories about crossing the gulf stream!  We’re also running out of our famous One Girl’s Ocean Challenge t-shirts, so get’em before they’re gone!  See you at the show 🙂

Wow, so many amazing people and so many wonderful conversations!  There’s not enough time in the day to talk to everyone…but we’re trying!  We’ve got some great help at the booth though, with our friends from Guarantee Company of North America and the volunteers from the OGOC team.  See you at the Boat Show!

The first day of the Toronto International Boat Show was a landslide of activity!  Met some amazing people, caught up with old friends and made some new friends.  I’ll be speaking again this week, so if you’re coming to the show, check out the presentations and I’ll see you there 🙂

After a little shuffling and re-organization, we are in position WITH a mast up!  Most of the rigging is complete and today we finish putting the boat together and getting her tidied up.  Tomorrow comes all the sparkle and shimmer!   See you at the Boat Show!  Don’t forget to check out the special presentations and come and hear about crazy adventures on a mini!

Well we’re in position at the Toronto International Boat Show and tomorrow the mast goes up!  Then it’s time to polish and sparkle and put the rest of the booth together.  The show is shaping up to be a great experience this year with a totallly new layout for sailfest.  Hope to see you there 🙂

It’s our big day….We moved out of our wonderful host Bristol Marine and moved in to the Toronto International Boat Show!  It’s a bit of a hurry up and wait game before we get fully positioned at the boat show and get the mast up.  Yes that’s right, we’re putting the mast up and fully rigging the boat so everyone can see and appreciate!  There will also be speaking engagements where you can come and hear all the stories of OGOC over the past two years and about our upcoming adventures in qualifying races in France.  Check out the Toronto International Boat Show website for the show presentations  and see you in Sailfest!
