What a wet ride! I haven’t seen it rain this much yet this year! It was a great race with good wind for the most part! I haven’t seen the results yet, we’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime I’m sitting at the emerg having my finger looked at. I bashed it on the way out to the start line. I thought enough to keep it elevated during the race but it wasn’t enough to keep all of the swelling down. I had to cut the wedding rings off today. I’ll keep you all posted on the results of the bashed finger 🙂

The race starts on Saturday morning and should finish Sunday morning. around the west end of the lake and pray for wind! Then it’s off to Royal Hamilton Yacht Club to tell the kids doing the Opti Canadians all about the campaign!

The guys at are an amazing bunch. They just finished detailing the mini and got ALL of the Sikaflex guck off of the deck and now she’s shining like mad! These are definately the go to guys to keep your boat clean.

Great job everyone for praying for wind!!!! We had just enough to make it a fun race day. Yes it was from the east and yes it was a little annoying, but thank goodness we had wind! The front runners are fairly secure in their positions, and we’re in a heated battle for mid… fleet! Last day today 🙂

No wind on Tuesday….3 races on Wednesday in light, light and then even lighter air! Hopefully there will be some more wind today. 🙂

Today was a fun filled day of sunshine, swimming and patiently drifting waiting for the wind to fill in…..unfortunately it never did……
We’re hoping for some better wind tomorrow and we will hopefully get some racing off.

Only 2 Races today! Not a lot of breeze, but there was definately some wicked current right after the rain in the second race. 14 birds racing and we’re in a four way tie for fifth. Let’s see what happens tomorrow 🙂 Thanks a tone to the Working Dog Saloon for the post race keg party!
