We’re going back to Seattle, but this time we’re looking for a place to stay!  Does anyone know someone who would take in a sailor for a few days?  March 25th to March 28th. 🙂

Who’s up for swimming tonight?
It’s time to really kick the fitness thing into gear…..The Annapolis race is only 4 months away! I’m challenging everyone out there to be physically active at least 3 times a week. Tell me what you’re doing to get the heart pumping!

So there are a couple of pictures up of each boat.  If you want to see more you’ll have to go to the facebook page, sorry!  It really was a fantastic trip to Seattle.  Both Craig and Adrian were wonderful hosts and are both great guys!  Now the weighing and factoring and decisioning begins.  Each boat has her merits and each boat has her considerations…….It’s going to take some good team discussions to figure out where we go from here.  Stay tuned 🙂

So it’s 12:42Am your time and I’m about to close my eyes. It’s been a long day, but a great day. We’ve looked at the gear and the sails, and tomorrow it’s off to the yard to see 655. I’ll have some pictures then. Stay tuned 🙂

One more sleep and it’s time to go see some Minis!  There are two wonderful Zeroes to look at in the Seattle area, so it’s time to check them out and see what the potential is.  I’ll try to post pictures and keep everyone up to date.  Keep Watching!

LET’S GO LOOK AT A BOAT!

SkyWeb Express is a 2006 Zero built in Spain.  She and her owner did the 2009 race with great potential, and now she’s for sale.  I think I’ll go out to Seattle and have a look at her!

A Successful Boat Show

What a wonderful success the boat show was!  We got to tell lots of people about the plans to do the 2011 Mini Transat Race, meet some potential corporate sponsors and put a few coins in the coffers along the way.  It was also really exciting to hear people’s stories about their trips across the Atlantic and elsewhere around the world.  Thank you also to everyone who made it possible.  We had an army of volunteers who all pitched in and made everyone proud.  Thanks also to the guys at Competition Yachts with the new Archambault boats.  Without them we wouldn’t have had the space at the show to tell our story.

You guys are the greatest!
