How often do you get to share the stage with a sailing hero like Gary Jobson? Well last night I got that once in a lifetime opportunity and did just that. National One Design brought us an amazing evening celebrating sailing’s past, present and future. Gary shared some brilliant life experiences along with his most recent adventures covering the last America’s Cup. His poignant stories gave us a chuckle, but also gave us some very interesting food for thought. Graciously Gary shared the stage with me, giving me a chance to share my story with the 100+ crowd in the room. It’s always fun to share my story with others….thank you for the wonderful opportunity Mr. Jobson and thank you to National One Design for putting it all together, but most of all, thank you to all of you who came out in the snow for the fun evening!

Big exciting night tonight!! I have the privilege of sharing the stage with Gary Jobson at the National One Design presentation tonight. The topic is “Sailing, past, present and future”, and Gary is certainly a hero to share stories. Thank you Montreal for an amazing time at the Salon du Bateau et des Sports Nautique de Montreal! It was wonderful to share time with you at Wichard and Raymarine and to share stories. Now for a nice long train ride back to Toronto to share stories at my home club of Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club and then off to Sodus Bay Yacht Club to share stories there!

Snow snow and more snow…am I ever glad I opted for the train to Montreal instead of driving. Plus it’s giving me some great time to work on my presentation with National One Design and Gary Jobson. We’re off to the Montreal Boat Show to share our story! I’m scheduled for two talks. You can choose Thursday’s presentation in English, or come have fun with my French at Friday’s presentation!
